When you wait so many years to make it official in the eyes of the court and law. Adoption is when a child grew in its Mother’s heart instead of her tummy. I was contacted by an organization who helps foster children and put me in touch with this beautiful family to photograph this momentous occasion for free. It’s so important for me to be able to give back when I can and thankfully I was available that day! Chad’s excitement and joy and his mom’s overwhelming love and appreciation for him was felt by all. Joined by the social workers and case workers and parents everyone felt privileged to be in the room!

Jennifer is an amazing Mommy and I am so happy for them both!! We had to wait for a few hours but we all hung out and her and her whole family was beyond kind. Chad is so happy to have her as a Mommy <3
